Standardized to 3.5% Lepticrosalides® — the bioactive complex of crocins, crocetin, and safranal responsible for saffron's antidepressant and anxiolytic effects. Used in 12+ randomized controlled trials. Demonstrated equivalent efficacy to SSRIs for mild to moderate depression and anxiety with 23% fewer adverse events. Inhibits reuptake of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine simultaneously, while reducing neuroinflammation, lowering cortisol, and increasing BDNF. The only saffron extract with this level of clinical validation.
