Scout's scores and analyses are informational only. They are not medical, nutritional, or professional advice, and using Scout does not create a doctor–patient or any other professional relationship. Talk to a qualified professional about your health, diet, allergies, or any medical condition — and never disregard professional advice because of something you read on Scout.

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Wise Concepts LLC ("Scout", "we"). By using scouthealthapp.com or the Scout iOS app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Scout.

What our scores are

Each score is Scout's independent editorial opinion, based on our analysis of cited data: ingredients, additives, processing, packaging, lab results, and published research. Scores can change as products are reformulated, new data comes out, or our methodology improves. We work hard on accuracy but do not warrant that any score, ingredient list, price, or other content is accurate, complete, or current. Always check the actual product label before you buy or consume anything — especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.

Affiliate disclosure

Scout participates in the Amazon Associates program: as an Amazon Associate, Scout earns from qualifying purchases made through outbound links. Commissions never influence scores — scoring and monetization are kept strictly separate.

Acceptable use

Scout is for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract scores, rankings, or other Scout data;
  • republish, resell, or redistribute Scout's scores or datasets;
  • circumvent rate limits, access gates, or other technical protections;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the site or app;
  • use Scout for anything unlawful.

Our content and yours

Scout's scores, analyses, text, graphics, and design are owned by Scout and protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, revocable license to view and use them personally within Scout. Product names, brands, and images belong to their respective owners and appear for identification only. When you submit a link or other content for analysis, you give us permission to process and store it in order to provide and improve the analysis; don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.

Third-party links

Outbound links (including Amazon links) lead to sites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, their policies, or your purchases there.

Privacy

How we handle data is covered in our Privacy Policy. The short version: no accounts on the website, no tracking cookies, and no sale of personal information.

Disclaimer of warranties

SCOUT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE OF SCOUT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCOUT AND ITS TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) SCOUT — INCLUDING ANY DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON A SCORE OR ANALYSIS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page with its effective date. Continuing to use Scout after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
