What is Organic pear juice concentrate?
Organic Pear Juice Concentrate is a concentrated form of pear juice, typically created by removing the water content from organic pear juice. This process retains the natural sugars and flavor, resulting in a more concentrated product that is used as a natural sweetener or flavoring agent.
It is often used in food and beverage products to add sweetness and pear flavor without the need for refined sugars or artificial additives. Health evidence around pear juice concentrates generally leans positive due to its origin from whole fruit, although it mainly contains sugars naturally present in pears.
When you see it on a label, it indicates a natural and organic source of fruit sweetness, but as with other forms of concentrated juices, it can contribute to the total sugar content of the product.
Commonly found in: juices, smoothies, fruit snacks, desserts, sauces
