Recycled PET plastic that sheds microplastics under heat, friction, and moisture — all conditions present in the groin area. Contains residual antimony trioxide catalyst and potential phthalates. Human studies found polyester worn against the scrotum generated electrostatic charges of ~339 V/cm² and caused azoospermia (zero sperm count) in all 14 subjects.
