What is Natural Raspberry Flavor?
Natural Raspberry Flavor is derived from natural sources, often through the extraction or distillation of raspberry compounds. The exact composition can vary, as it often includes a mix of chemical components found in raspberries.
This flavoring is used to impart a raspberry taste in various products without the need for actual raspberries, which can be expensive or impractical. While it is generally considered safe, some consumers might be concerned about the lack of transparency in its specific components and whether they are truly all 'natural'.
When you see this on a label, particularly in products like beverages or supplements, it implies the raspberry flavor is achieved using natural-derived compounds rather than artificial synthetics.
Commonly found in: supplements, beverages, foods, bottled water
