The only ingredient. Plant-derived from olives (alternative sources include sugarcane fermentation by Amyris). Identical to a major component of human sebum, making it exceptionally biocompatible: lightweight, non-comedogenic, deeply moisturizing, naturally antioxidant, and shelf-stable without preservatives. Replaces the ethically-fraught shark-liver-derived squalane that dominated the industry until ~2010.
