Key ingredients 2
Instant CoffeeGood
Instant coffee is a convenient form of coffee that retains many of the beneficial compounds found in regular coffee, such as antioxidants. The processing method involves brewing coffee beans and then freeze-drying or spray-drying the extract, which preserves its antioxidant properties. It is a low-calorie beverage option that can contribute to daily fluid intake.
Benefits
Rich in antioxidants like chlorogenic acids, which may help reduce inflammation and improve heart health.
Roasted ChicoryNeutral
Roasted chicory is often used as a coffee substitute or additive, providing a similar flavor profile without caffeine. It is derived from the root of the chicory plant, which is roasted and ground. While it adds flavor and can be beneficial for those avoiding caffeine, it does not offer significant nutritional benefits.
Risks
Excessive consumption may cause digestive issues in some individuals due to its inulin content.
Benefits
Contains inulin, a type of prebiotic fiber that can support gut health.
Processing
Unprocessed or Minimally Processed Foods
