BASED Magnesium Deodorant (Guava Nectar)

Non-irritating odor-neutralizing active. Raises underarm pH just enough to disrupt Corynebacterium and Staphylococcus hominis species responsible for body odor without the burn or chronic dermatitis triggered by sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). Replaces aluminum chlorohydrate / aluminum zirconium -- the antiperspirant actives that physically plug eccrine sweat ducts and have decades of debated but persistent data on accumulation in breast tissue (Darbre 2005, 2016).

Companion magnesium mineral; absorbs sebum and excess moisture while contributing additional pH buffering. Trace magnesium ions are mildly astringent and skin-calming.

Cera alba -- natural occlusive wax that creates a thin breathable barrier on skin while structuring sticks/balms. Replaces petrolatum and synthetic waxes.

Triterpene-rich (lupeol, alpha- and beta-amyrin) plant butter with documented anti-inflammatory and barrier-restoring activity (Lin 2018 review). Among the most evidence-backed natural emollients.

Lipid-soluble antioxidant that stabilizes oils in the formula and protects skin lipids from oxidative damage. Synergistic with most plant oils.

Coconut/palm-derived medium-chain triglyceride; lightweight, non-comedogenic emollient. Clean and stable.

Plant-derived wax from the candelilla shrub; stabilizes the stick and adds smooth glide.

Plant-derived fatty acid; mild emollient and texture modifier that keeps the stick from cracking and improves skin feel.

Tropical guava scent composed of plant-derived aromatic isolates (no synthetic petrochemical fragrance). Slightly less transparent than a fully-itemized aroma listing.

Natural plant wax used as a glazing agent — inert.
