Probable Carcinogen (Glyphosate) Detected in 12 of 13 Beers Tested
In tests published in February 2019, U.S. PIRG Education Fund found glyphosate in 19 of the 20 beers, ciders and wines it tested. The only one with none detected was Peak Beer Organic IPA.
PIRG said these levels are below EPA risk tolerances for beverages, but that even low levels of glyphosate may be problematic.

Glyphosate is a pesticide that’s classified as a probable human carcinogen by the World Health Organization. It is linked to cancer, such as Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
It's now detected in your beer. Alcohol itself is already a carcinogen. Now there’s glyphosate.
Many of the companies named questioned the accuracy of the report, and beer and wine trade groups said the levels were well below those considered hazardous.
